be great for all of

the gang to learn

about East

Tennessee’s

History and

Culture!

The Museum of Appalachia is located in Norris, TN. About 15

miles from Knoxville.

While in Norris,

they may want

to stop and visit

Norris Dam

State Park.

Norris Dam State

Park made Norris,

TN famous in 1936.

It was part o

f

FDR’s New Deal

plan.

THE GRISTMILL IN NORRIS DAM STATE PARK

The Gristmill is a beautiful part of

Norris Dam State Park. It would be a

great place for some awesome

pictures!

IF SOPHIE, MURPHY, RACHEL, AND GRACIE CAME TO MY TOWN I WOULD… Take them to Market Square in downtown

Knoxville so they could see some of our specialty shops in Knoxville and where some of our fun events take place!

Then we would go to a University of Tennessee football game at Neyland Stadium where we would sing “Rocky Top” until we couldn’t speak anymore!

After that we would go to Big Ed’s Pizza and share a huge pizza and a pitcher of Coke!

Then to wrap the day up we would go to Norris Dam State Park to see the natural beauty of East Tennessee and take some great pictures at the Grist Mill so we never forgot that wonderful day!
