Introduction

Kentucky Department of Education through theKentucky Academic Core Content Standardssuggest that school librarians and teachers begin

to have their student produce digital stories.

But Why?

Digital storytelling can be used through allcontent areas. P-12 students can communicatewhat they know and do via technology.

By use of incorporating technology in theclassroom; teachers and LMS will aide in betterlearning practices while teaching intentional

material.

As our students move and grow into 21centurylearners; digital storytelling will be yet another

aspect of the process.

Log on to Little Bird Tales at www.littlebirdtales.com.Your first step will be to create an account.Click on the Create an Account tab as shownabove.

Little Bird Tales is a 3 step process.Step 1. Create a cover for your story. You may upload photosand/or use paint to draw.
