Song is a part of daily life.They contain repetition and enhance
learning.Songs motivate students to learn language.
Song is a good way to teach vocabulary, idioms,phrases.
Students can learn correct pronunciation of words.
Slow songs can help students to learn intonation,elision.
Songs enable bottom-up, top-down processing simultaneously.
HOW CAN TEACHERS USE DIGITAL SONGS TO TEACH LANGUAGE?POSSIBLE TASKTeachers can play a clip and ask
students to talk about what they heard .
Teachers can give a song. Then get students to make up new ending.
Teacher can use two version of song and gets students to compare them . This will be useful for their speaking skills.
Students can write a song. If their grade are high.
He/She can play the song and asks students to design a concept for the video. It will be funny.
