Due to exponential growth we are looking for a Digital Designer to join our team. It's an exciting time to join us. THE OPPORTUNITY ______ As our Digital Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating assets and campaigns across all digital channels (websites, email, social, display advertising)–effectively communicating product and brand positioning, driving marketing metrics and targets, creating highly impactful sales collateral and support material, delivering exceptional results for our clients, and providing innovative digital experiences for our readers. The ability to deliver on demanding deadlines and manage multiple projects is crucial to success in this role. You will have a goal-oriented design approach, with an innate understanding and appreciation of The Urban List’s high standard in style, design and imagery, naturally able to work inside the confines of our brand guidelines. As a start up organisation, culture is critical. We are looking for a Digital Designer who shares our passion for The Urban List, is eager to work in an extremely fast-paced environment where change happens daily, and where collaboration and communication is key. AN AVERAGE DAY IN THE LIFE… ______ • Developing design assets for marketing and client campaigns • Social Media content and campaigns (namely Facebook and Instagram) • Developing design-driven content marketing campaigns on site • Weekly eNewsletter and solus eDM creation • Repurposing creative concepts for all digital requirements • Display advertising, video animation and graphics • Production of some proposals and sales/marketing collateral • Supporting the graphic design department on general graphic design output as requested or as required • Working closely with content, marketing and sales to develop and create extra digital content concepts that are consistent with brief and brand requirements. • Accurately predicting timeframes for completion of work for quoting purposes, as well as actively tracking time spent on projects to allow for correct and timely billing of clients.
