CHRISTINE INGILIZYAN
I found out about Seton Hall through my cousin who recently graduated from here and from the first day I
visited the school, I fell in love with it
I want to study speech pathology and I knew that this school had a great program for it
The school has great academics and activities for students
I love the campus and I’m so happy I get to live here with all the people I’ve met and become friends with
SETON HALL
My family consists of my parents, my older brother, and myself.
I come from a 100% Armenian family
My brother and I were born in New Jersey, but my parents were born and raised in Turkey and later moved to America
Most of my family still lives in Turkey including my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins
FAMILY
I was born in New Jersey
I’m from a small town in New Jersey called New Milford
I’ve lived in New Milford all my life
I went to New Milford High School which has about 600 students and almost everyone in town knows each other
MY ROOTS
I’ve been dancing in an Armenian Dance Ensemble for about 11 years and continue to dance throughout college
I like to play basketball, watch movies, and hang out with my friends as much as I can
Sometimes I like to relax and watch TV or read a book
FUN TIME
I haven’t experienced many road blocks other than when I had to enter high school after being in a private Armenian
school for 13 years
I went to the school from kindergarten to 8th grade and had the same friends that became my family for years
I had to transition into a whole new environment with different people and cultures
However, I got used to it fairly quickly and I loved it
ROAD BLOCKS
In 5 years, I hope to have a successful job as a speech pathologist
I see myself working in an elementary school or hospital
I can also see myself with a family and kids probably living in New Jersey
THE FUTURE
