EDUCATION WEEK, BOOK WEEK & GRANDPARENTS SPECIAL DAY
The children are looking forward to our Book Week Parade, where they will all have the opportunity to show off their costumes at the parade. We will also be inviting our pre-schoolers and siblings to join in. The theme for Book Week for 2019 is:
Please note our parade has been pushed back by 30 minutes and will commence at 10am. After the parade we will invite our visitors to come into the classroom to read a book and have a look at some student work samples. You may then wish to visit the Scholastic Book Fair in the hall, where books and stationary will be available for purchase. Parents and grandparents are welcome to stay for morning tea. Lamingtons, tea and coffee will be available for a gold coin donation for your guests.
OPEN CLASSROOM PLAYGROUP
Reminder: Tomorrow, Friday 2 August, our Kindy classroom will be open from 2-3pm to allow for any siblings, neighbouring families or friends that would like to come along and have a play in the classroom to familiarise themselves with our environment. This is a great opportunity to potentially meet other families also. Other opportunities for open classrooms will occur in Weeks 5 and 8.
