History student (class of 1951) Most Rev. Dr A. Awedo ordained as the 1st African bishop on the Western Coast of Africa

Former Taoisigh Mr Charles Haughey and Dr Garret Fitzgerald with Mrs Mary Healy at a Golden Jubilee ceremony for graduates of 1946 in O'Reilly Hall, Belfield in 1996. Mr Haughey, Dr Fitzgerald and Mrs Healy were then members of the university's Spanish Society. Photograph appeared in the Irish Times 1996.
