2. Screw Conveying: Relatively high op. speeds (slippage) and

particle attrition Back-flow of material Undesirable casing/screw contact

3. Bucket Elevators: Relatively high capital/maintenance costs Mistracking of belt/chain Damage to belt/chain, buckets, casing…
