MEND is a non-profit, faith-based, affordable housing organization that was formed by nine Moorestown churches in 1969. Friends of MEND is a non-profit organization incorporated in 2003 for the exclusive purpose of supporting MEND’s affordable housing mission by helping MEND obtain charitable contributions. MEND’s mission is to serve low and moderated income neighbors of Burlington County by expanding the supply of affordable rental and for-sale housing in the County. MEND is currently building a new 54-unit senior housing project in Cinnaminson, NJ. opening October 2019. The MEND housing portfolio presently encompasses 700+ apartments located in 28 different developments in Burlington, Delanco, Deptford, Egg Harbor City, Evesham, Florence. Medford and Moorestown. Our apartments are home to more than 900 persons including the elderly and the disabled. MEND is working to develop more affordable housing in other Burlington County towns.
