“A Church of One Book” We are a church that is committed to developing all generations for significant lives in Christ. And one of the most important ways that we help one another develop is through the study of God’s Word. John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, famously said, “Let me be homo unius libri” [a man of one Book]. As Wesley was a man of one book, we are a church of one Book. For this reason we have given great sums of money to print and even translate Bibles into new languages and share them around the world. It’s for this reason we go to great lengths to produce our sermon journal, designed to help people encounter God through Scripture and put down deep roots in Christ. It’s for this reason that we offer RoadMap classes and discipleship opportunities and let the Bible guide and inspire our weekly sermons. And it is for this reason that today we give our beloved 3rd graders their very own Bible as a gift from the congregation.
All of this is possible because of the consistent generosity of our congregation. Thank you for giving faithfully to God through Asbury so that together we may fulfil our vision.

JUSTA DAY? Current Sermon Series
September 27: A transformed mind is the first step in living like a servant, but not the only step. The servant life is not theoretical—it is vibrant and active. It requires us to give of ourselves continuously by choosing to act in the best interest of others.
