It was a perfect day for a garage sale, and when coupled with lots of obvious planning and prepara-tion, lots of great items priced to sell, and a marvelous location, could only result in success. At the end of the day, the ladies from Herff Jones, organized by Julie Payne, presented Andi with

$2,000 for the shelter. They

requested $500 be spent for a renewed supply of t-shirts to re-sell and the rest to be used for operating expenses. Many thanks to Julie and her work team:

Pet of the Week

Cordelia

Beautiful Cordelia is a 12-week-old classic Tabby female kitten. Her markings are just lovely, with that wonderful, bold "M" pattern on her face (for "Marvelous"?). Cordelia and her siblings are all very playful and people-oriented babies. They approach any new person who walks into our cat playroom with friendly curiosity. Cordelia would make a fun and very attentive little companion. Perhaps that "M" on her face actually stands for "Many years of happiness."
