Tezpur University is looking for Assistant Professors for the Departments of (1) Energy and (2) Food
following details.
Department Essential qualification Specialization Date / Time / Venue of Interview
Energy
First class Master’s degree in Energy Technology / Energy related field / Renewable Energy with uniform academic records from HSLC onwards. Desirable: i) Teaching, research, industrial and/or
professional experience in a reputed organization.
ii) Experience in imparting vocational training on renewable energy.

Food Engineering &
Technology
B. Tech. degree with 1st class or equivalent in Food Engineering / Food Processing Technology / Agricultural Engineering AND M. Tech. with 1st
class or equivalent in Food Processing Engineering / Agri Processing Engineering or related field. Preference will be given to: i) Candidates with experience of teaching
vocational subjects and/or having undergone vocational training.
ii) Candidates with GATE/NET or possessing Ph.D. degree.

Pay: Rs. 50,000/- (fixed) Per Month.
The posts are sanctioned by the UGC for introduction of Bachelor of Vocation (B. Voc.) programmes under the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and the appointment will be purely on contractual basis during the XII Plan Period. Two Assistant Professors will be appointed for each of the Department.
