What is the film about?• Destiny is about a basketball team

heading towards the championships, until one practise the team leader walked a new rout home. Suddenly leading to a car accident involving a flash camera angle to the new scene of him being wheeled out of hospital with the lost feeling in his legs. Which develops into him being depressed and struggling though the next few months. But when visiting his old gym he finds a basketball rolling though the door, seeing children roll around in wheel chair finding a new side to his disability the atmosphere changes. Throughout the film he develops different emotion to then becoming a basketball coach for the children in the same place he is now.

Showing one little change can effect everything although it can become your Destiny in becoming someone better.

Where will it be shown?• I will show my film Destiny in

the Savoy cinema new in Corby. This is because its newly opened showing a popular environment to open the new themed movie. It is also in an known area of Corby Town showing a close range of people and less transport.

• Or Odeon another known cinema but found further away from the local area. Although giving the film opener distance it may attract more notice between Kettering and Corby.

Target audience• The target market of the film would be any sporting/basketball

fan in who likes films with a twist. But also an emotional balance of sports and struggle.

• My target audience would be teen over 16+ and adults to understand the movie of Destiny and the difference of having a disability.

Comparisons of other films• Even though, not that much similar I had the idea of

Destiny from Forrest Gump though the thought of a struggling life in different characters although succeeding in a lot of different ways. It also gives different effects of atmosphere within the two film in how it is represented to the audience. Though the character of “Forrest Gump” a character Lieutenant Dan Taylor also relates to my character Andy who is also in trouble of a new disability and finding out how it changed his life. Throughout the similarities of Destiny towards other related films I think the main character links with Forrest for even having a disability he accomplished a lot throughout the ending of the film. But also showing similarities of Dan Taylor with the depression and thinking it had ruined his life because of the experience. Then developing as a character to think over it.

• As my film is not thought of to relate to a film I think it links a lot towards Forrest Gump and how it is shown towards the watcher.
