YDance Routes Destinations is a one day performance event hosted by YDance taking place at MacRobert in Stirling on Saturday 21 February 2015. The aim of the event is to showcase the best of Scottish youth dance talent. Dance groups from across the country with a piece of no longer than 7 minutes are invited to apply. Application forms must be accompanied by access to film footage of the group performing the piece they intend to present at the event online (or on DVD / flash drive). WHO CAN APPLY Dance groups of young people aged 12 to 21 based in Scotland Dance groups with a maximum of 15 dancers Groups who have a dance piece of no longer than 7 minutes they’d like to perform at Destinations (There is no minimum length and some of the best pieces are often only 2 or 3 minutes long) HOW TO APPLY Fill out the application form below Provide footage of the dance piece you are planning to perform on DVD, flash drive or through an online link (footage needs to available to view from the start of December 2014 to the end of January 2015) Submit both the form and film footage to Gaynor Milne by Friday 5 December or post everything to Gaynor Milne, Projects Coordinator, YDance, The Briggait, 141 Bridgegate, Glasgow, G1 5HZ PLEASE NOTE Group Leaders should consider the child protection implications of posting film content online, as it is their responsibility to ensure the welfare of their group in this instance. All dancers must complete a permission to document form prior to participation in Destinations 2015. SELECTION

SELECTION Up to 14 groups will be selected to perform at Destinations alongside the National Youth
Dance Company of Scotland at Macrobert on Saturday 21 February 2015 All groups will be will be told in early January 2015 whether they have been successful or not
COSTSThere is no fee to apply to be part of Destinations, but groups will need to cover the cost of any *travel or accommodation to attend the event.
*A discretionary travel subsidy may be available for groups coming from more than 25 miles away from MacRobert and YDance will pay up to 50% of transport costs for qualifying groups, up to a maximum of £250.
