Providing of quality management systems at manufacturing, logistics, storage and distribution of food and

pharmaceutical product groups is not possible without providing modern temperature and humidity monitoring systems at all stages of the technical delivery process from producer to consumer.

The last few years PJSC "TERA" is actively implementing its own temperature and humidity monitoring

system in the pharmaceutical and grocery stores of the leading Ukrainian and foreign companies.

Monitoring system consists of temperature and humidity air probes placed in storage rooms, freezers, refrigerators, cool docks, etc., data collection controllers and TechnologSoft software installed on computers in the local network. The system can also use temperature product probes in case if necessary to measure temperature directly inside the product package.

Probes transmit their data via RS485 digital interface to the data collection controller which in turn transmits the data to a server that maintains a database and communication with controllers. The controller also provides a backup storage of data in its non-volatile memory and in the event of any interruption, stored data can always be downloaded from the memory of controller. Also, the controller displays all the necessary information about the status of the probes in the network: current probe readings, alarms, status of dry contact inputs and so on.

A single line with the maximum number of probes up to 30 pcs can be connected to each controller. Probes are connected to the cable line sequentially. The length of the line can be up to 1 km. If it’s required to expand the system, an additional controller is installed, to which another 30 additional probes can be connected and so on. Controllers are installed in the electrical panel board with the necessary protective switching equipment and uninterruptible power supply (UPS), allowing to carry out self-contained power of a controller and probes for 4-8 hours in the absence of electricity supply.

The server keeps communication with controllers at set intervals. The server can be any computer on the local network of a client. OPC Server is installed on the server. The OPC technology is an open common standard of data access. The data can be accessed not only via the specialized Tehnologsoft program, but also, for example, via already used by the customer SCADA, CRM and other systems.

Tehnologsoft software is installed on any of the computers in the local client’s network by which the staff can receive online data from the probes, specify ranges of alarms, make reports, graphs and data tables. The software provides a ranked access to data and settings, dividing the operating staff by users and administrators with different access rights.

The staff is notified of an emergency or threshold violation in the following ways. Tehnologsoft program generates an alarm on the monitor online and sends SMS messages to mobile phones of responsible employees via GSM modem connected to the server. It is also possible to install an external light and sound alarm panel board on request. It connects directly to the controller and is placed in security rooms or places of staff permanent location.

All monitoring systems are equipped with temperature and humidity probes which have calibration certificates. Temperature deviation is 0.5 ° C at a relative humidity of +3%.

When shipping, the customer receives a complete set of documents, including data sheets and user manuals for all supplied components, wiring diagram, calibration certificates, protocols with insulation resistance measurements. All system components shall be warranted for 12 months, followed by post-warranty support.

We also provide all our customers with services for periodic calibration and verification of all components of the monitoring system. PJSC "TERA" has its own calibration center, which operates under a contract with the territorial authority of the Department of Economic Development.
