STEP 1: Draw the pattern to the measurements shown or print it out to double the current size as shown in the illustration in step 1.

STEP 2: Cut the linen fabric to measure 32 x 84 cm. Place the pattern on top of the fabric for the measurements.

STEP 3: Cut three silk fabric pieces A. auburn 9.5 x 35 cm, B. green 8 x 35 cm, C. sand 15 x 35 cm. Arrange the layers as shown in the pictures and follow the pattern for measurements. Start with the auburn fabric and fold the layer keeping a gap of 2 cm from upper border. Then fold the green fabric in half and place the open ended seam to the bottom side so that closed side lies a distance of 1.5 cm from the folded part of auburn fabric. Secure both layers individually with pins.

STEP 4: Place the sand fabric on top of green fabric with a distance of 1cm from the top border of the green fabric and fold the bottom end of the green fabric inwards to a distance of 2 cm. Secure them with pins fi rst, before sewing the pieces together with a sewing machine.

STEP 5: Place the paper pattern on top of the fabric piece and pin them down individually. Cut out all the fl ower patterns as shown in the illustration and stick them with tape.

STEP 6: Cut 2.5 m of green thread, thread into an embroidery needle and fold it in half so it is double while stitching. Start with 4 backstitches. Stitch out to the top and then stitch again to the back side. Remove the paper using tweezers if necessary. Cut the thread in half to use it for the next step with the beading needle. Use one piece of thread and insert one Swarovski Bead article 5621 18 mm Crystal Red Magma onto it. Stitch through the bead three times and fi nish with 4 back stitches. Stitch 4 backstitches with the second piece of thread and repeat to create all other fl owers as shown in the illustration with this step.

STEP 7: Fold the linen base fabric inwards as shown in the illustration hiding the fl owers from front side.

STEP 8: Secure the fabric with pins and sew together using a sewing machine leaving a 1cm space around the edges.

STEP 9: Fold the fabric twice to measure 3.7 cm as shown in the pattern.

STEP 10: Stitch the fold all around carefully and turn it inside out.

STEP 11: To make the handles for the bag, cut the linen fabric to a measurement of 9 x 40 cm, fold it in half and stitch leaving 1cm around the edges. Also stitch vertically closing one of the openings. Turn the fabric over and iron it to fl atten the stitch as shown in the illustrations with this step.

STEP 12: Attach the handle by sewing them onto the bag with the given measurements in this step. Repeat steps 11 – 12 to attach the other handle of the bag.
