Currently, two lanes of I-10 westbound traffic merge with three lanes of I-12 westbound traffic before the College Drive exit. This merge creates a 5-lane section of interstate. Westbound I-10 traffic must cross over 3 to 4 lanes in order to exit at College Drive.
