I have a successful business of consulting and I guess I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert in colour, but I feel that I need to take a step up and have a the image that says “expert”. I am also finding myself doing more interior styling jobs and my web does not reflect the style of my work. Maria Killiams color me happy blog is essentially my inspiration on the content side. She is able to deliver a lot of information on colour and style and her blog creates that “expert” opinion for her readers. I am yet to find a blog of that sort here in Aust, so I see an opening to really establish myself. Although I wont be detailing as much as Maria the concept is the same. Stylish livable spaces blog My company is hinch colour design but my tage line that I have created and have registered as the name of my blog is stylish livable spaces

The vision for my site. Aesthetically I love clean fresh simple and inviting, best way to describe that would be your blog as that what grabbed my attention from the minute I landed there.

I also love organisation & would like to do a few series in this side so its not a pure design blog, a bit of everything like most that I read.

Side Bars I would like to have 2 side bars.

I would like to have a few buttons that people see straight away when they open the blog that have the main “tutorials” as it were on things like Top 10 Whites, blah blah.  The idea being that you can access this info without having to scroll to find in my posts.

Font & Colour I would really like to avoid any black text, I prefer dark shades of grey instead. My ideal colour pallet is very similar to your blog. Very neutral with a little colour but soft muted tones. I really like the yellow colour of your printable button. I would like to see that colour a little. I would like the background behind the blog to be very light & not too ornate, it can have a texture or pattern, I really want the blog to look bright & fresh.

I like century gothic and I also would like a more handwritten font. I like Honey

script ….. Or something similar in a cursive style. I am sure you will find a great font. the mix similar to your blog where you have both script and standard font.

I love the textured ribbon you have behind your masthead. Perhaps something like this seamed ribbon somewhere on the bog would be great. This is also the signature colour I would like. Lets call it Duck egg blue

New logo design My current website is a redesign that I did over new year. My old site was heavy and I felt outdated. So I guess the colours and general look and feel of the site is what I am hoping to recreate in my logo and blog.

The logo must include these words (a) hinch colour design (b) stylish livable spaces

My old logo looked like this

And now I would like it to look more like these……

I like the boarders & I like your double line and even can be a simple square.
