What should I have done by the time I finish Class XII?

Be aware of things around you. So read Draw – start with the basics of human figure sketching -

anatomical drawing, do basic object studies in 3D (keep an object in front of you and draw it in perspective, as you see it), go out and draw things you see around you (plants, trees, streets etc)

Use colour – through art/photography

A portfolio – “Could be a recording of a song you've sung, a few odd pictures from a play/dance you've been in, a short story you've written, poetry/essays, anything that's beyond regular textbook gyaan”
