NOLA’S CLASSIC COCKTAIL 1 bsp Absinthe – or less to coat inside of glass 1 tsp Sugar Syrup (1:1) 2 dashes The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters 2 oz (50 ml) Rye Whiskey Chill glass with a few ice cubes before making the cocktail. Discard ice once glass is properly chilled. Mist or rinse glass with absinthe in order to thoroughly coat the interior of the glass. Add simple syrup, bitters and whiskey to glass and stir to combine. Garnish with lemon twist. P RUM RAMSEY COCKTAIL 1 3/4 oz (50 ml) Rum 1/4 oz (5 ml) Bourbon Whiskey 1/4 oz (5 ml) Fresh Lime Juice 1/4 tsp Granulated Sugar 1 dash The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. P PINK CAIPIRINHA 2 oz (50 ml) Cachaça (Brazilian Rum) 3 dashes The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters 1 Lime (chopped) 2 bsp Cane Sugar Muddle lime and sugar in a tumbler, add all other ingredients and ice and stir. P METROPOLE COCKTAIL 1 1/2 oz (40 ml) Brandy or Cognac 3/4 oz (20 ml) Dry Vermouth 1/4 oz (5 ml) Sugar Syrup 2 dashes The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters 1 dash The Bitter Truth – Orange Bitters Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. DESHLER COCKTAIL 1 1/2 oz (40 ml) Rye Whiskey 1 oz (30 ml) Dubonnet 1/4 oz (5 ml) Cointreau 2 dashes The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters Large Orange Zest Large Lemon Zest Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into a cocktail coupe. Garnish with an orange twist. P PENDENNIS COCKTAIL 1 1/2 oz (40 ml) Gin 3/4 oz (20 ml) The Bitter Truth – Apricot Liqueur 2-3 dashes The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters 1/2 oz (15 ml) Fresh Lime Juice Lemon Twist Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. SEELBACH COCKTAIL 2/3 oz (20 ml) Bourbon Whiskey 1/3 oz (10 ml) Cointreau 4 dashes The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters 4 dashes The Bitter Truth – Aromatic Bitters Champagne Lemon Twist Pour all ingredients into a chilled Champagne flute and stir. Add the Champagne and stir again. Garnish with an orange twist. P CREOLE HIGHBALL 1 1/2 oz (40 ml) Cognac or Bourbon Whiskey 2 dashes The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters fill up with 7 UP or Sprite Pour ingredients into a highball glass filled with ice and stir. P FOURTH REGIMENT COCKTAIL 1 oz (30 ml) Rye Whiskey 1 oz (30 ml) Sweet Vermouth 1 dash The Bitter Truth – Orange Bitters 1 dash The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters 1 dash The Bitter Truth – Celery Bitters Lemon zest Stir all ingredients well with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with Lemon twist. P THE ANTOINE 2 oz (50 ml) Dry Gin 1/2 oz (15 ml) Simple Syrup 1 splash Absinthe 3 dashes The Bitter Truth – Creole Bitters Tonic Water Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
