•Xerophytes are plants that are adapted to a limited supply of water

•Plants in the desert adapt to survive by storing water inside of them so that they can use it when it has not rained for weeks at a time.

How they Adapt:• Most animals try to stay out of the heat by simply not going in it and staying in the shade• Most animals get their water from there food• Animals like Camels store water in their body to last for long and hot days.
