Lawang Sewu The Historic Place in Semarang

The building is known as Lawang Sewu. It is one of the most haunted and spooky buildings in java.

Lawang Sewu is located in Semarang, the capital city of central java, Indonesia. There are many great doors in the building, but it is unlikely that there are a thousands. In the building we find the long corridors with many doors and rooms along them. It has huge and high windows. The architecture, the stained glass windows and the underground tunnels (underground prison) tell so many histories. There are high towers and castle.

Today Lawang Sewu is dark and ruined. The walls of the building are cracked. Mould and weeds grew over much of the building. The horror stories about ghost and mystic in Lawang Sewu are caused the building is very famous.
