• The first character indicates the number of tandem sets or wheels in tandem, e.g. 3D = three dual gears in tandem. (If a tandem configuration is not present, the leading value of “1” is omitted.) Typical names are S = Single, 2D = two dual wheels in Tandem, 5D = five dual wheels in tandem, and 2T = two triple wheels in tandem.
