Babbitt General Manager, Operations Petroleum Recycling Corporation 2651 Walnut Avenue Signal Hill, California 90806 Dear Mr. Babbitt: CHANGES DURING INTERIM STATUS: PETROLEUM RECYCLING CORPORATION, 1835 EAST 29TH STREET, SIGNAL HILL (EPA ID NO. CAT080011059) This is in response to your meeting with Mr. Aaron Yue of mv staff on September IV, 1992 and your submittal of a revised Part A application dated October 5, 1992 in request of changes to the revised Interim Status Document (ISD) dated December 21, 1990. We apologize for the delay in our response. During the referenced meeting, we had indicated changes in the ISD will be limited to clarification of the current conditions and limitations. No additional quantities or waste codes would be allowed for acceptance at Petroleum Recycling Corporation (PRC) in Signal Hill. As a result of the referenced meeting, we are making the following amendments to the revised ISD of December 21, 1990. 1. Waste with California Waste Code (CWC) 241 is allowed for acceptance if the waste is also a waste with EPA Waste Code (EWC) K052. 2. To maintain consistency of waste allowed for acceptance by PRC, CWC 211 waste will now be allowed for acceptance because it is the California equivalent to EWC F001 and F002 which were allowed for bulking and transferring as an alternative fuel in the ISD of December 21, 1990. 3. The combined maximum annual quantity allowed for EWC F003 and F005 is amended to 300,000 gallons instead of 120,000 gallons each. The change reconciles the quantity allowed for CWC 212 as stated in the December 1990 ISD. These wastes are allowed for alternative fuel transfer only. 4 - Some EWC K051 waste can also be classified under CWC 222, and K051 was allowed for acceptance under the December 1990 ISD. To reconcile between the EPA waste codes and the California waste codes, CWC 222 will be allowed for acceptance if the iwaste is also an E-."C K051. *•% «

    Dear Mr. Babbitt:

CHANGES DURING INTERIM STATUS: PETROLEUM RECYCLING CORPORATION, 1835 EAST 29TH STREET, SIGNAL HILL (EPA ID NO. CAT080011059)

This is in response to your meeting with Mr.
