Publications of books, research papers and conduct of seminars are some of the

attempts of the Department for creation of new knowledge in the field of Political

Science.

Strengths:

1) Trained faculty members from different Universities such as JNU, Manipur

University etc.

2) Good cooperation among the faculty and students

3) Good students’ performance: During last four years considerable number of

students have cleared various competitive examinations such as NET, SLET,

MCS etc.

Weaknesses:

1) To attract students & faculty members.

Opportunities:

1) Centre for South East Asian studies as Manipur.

2) Exposure of students to knowledge world in social science research.

2) To conduct classes given Law and Order Situation in Manipur
