Dengue FeverDengue fever is a

disease caused by a family of viruses that are transmitted by mosquitoes.

The symptoms are headaches, fever, exhaustion, severe muscle and joint pain, swollen glands, and rash.

Contagious and Curable?It isn’t contagious due to the fact

that its passed from mosquitos infecting your blood.

Because dengue fever is caused by a virus, there is no specific medicine or antibiotics to treat the disease.

DHF- Dengue Hemorrhagic FeverHemorrhagic- bleedingCirculatory collapse- shock- one

of the symptoms to DHF Petechiae- small red or purple

splotches or blisters under the skin

Real Life Experience Rihanna’s father-

Ronald Fenty had gotten hospitalized for Dengue Fever and nearly had died from it. He had gotten it while visiting his daughter at her home in Barbados. -“It was horrible. I thought I was going to die.” he said to The Sun newspaper.
