Youth Looking Beyond Disaster Profile www.eubios.info Ms. Emillia Rizky Ekanandya Lakzmi (Indonesia) ([email protected]) I was born in Batang, 21st January 1993. I am a student majoring in goverment and poitical science at the social and politics department of Diponegoro University Indonesia. I live at Semarang, central Java Indonesia but I came from Batang regency Central Java Indonesia. I attend LBD3 to know all about disaster. And for this forum, I focus about many public policy by the Indonesian goverment which has to handle many problems of disaster. So I will get many knowledges and experiences to give positive contributions for development of tackling disaster policy. By joining this program I wish I could have a strong network to the world, expand my knowledge about the disaster, diseases and other environment problems to help Indonesia and my regency, Batang, become better places in the future. My non academic achievements include being one of delegates of a pleno plenary session which has been held by the parliament of Indonesia. I am very active in many organisations, such us be fungsionaris of Litbang at Major organisation in 2012, leader of Litbang at major organisation in 2013 and secretary of social and politics departement, university organisation. Beyond the campus, I am the coordinator of "Students for Batang regency" for functioning monitor, analyze, and oversee all issues that occurred in Batang. I also active in a variety of activities for student as Java Arts and Swimming. Its activity was showed by active in various national events, such as the following advocacy Century Case Settlement Commission in Jakarta, Advocacy Nationalization of Oil and Gas by Pertamina in Pertamina Headquarters Jakarta, as well as monitoring team in Java gubernatorial election in 2013. Besides I was also active as a committee member in various activities of department, faculty or university.
