—IMS group can provide you with virtually the entire product range of stainless special steel. As a mill-independent distribution company, we purchase our material from a wide network of national and international mills.

—Our warehouse range, which is unique in Europe, includes numerous special items in addition to the entire range of standard dimensions and grades. The material is used in the automotive industry, the construction and energy industry and naturally also in the food industry, as well as in medical technology.

—If the required grade of steel is not directly available from the warehouse, we can obtain the steel in no time thanks to our worldwide distribution network – even “just-in-time” if required.

—Stainless tubes—Welded line pipes and dairy tubes made from stainless steel are subject to high technical production requirements as they are used, among other things, for the transportation and storage of corrosive, combustible and toxic liquids, gases and solids.

—The quality and processing requirements of stainless steel are especially high when tubes are used in hygienic applications. Such applications include drinking water systems or systems used in the food or pharmaceutical industries. However, product variety also plays a decisive role in addition to quality. This is important wherever tubes are used to serve a constructional or decorative purpose, such as in the architectural or furniture industry.

—We have one of the largest warehouse ranges for stainless, welded dairy, line and structural tubes and section tubes.

—Our fully automated high-bay warehouse in Düsseldorf with more than 3,200 cassettes guarantees that desired materials are available very quickly. As each individual cassette can be divided up to four times, we can stock different versions of several thousand items and batches. Other cassette warehouses of this kind can be found at our branches, ensuring that “just-in-time” delivery is also possible at a regional level.

—Bright steel

—Our bright steel product is characterised by the high-quality bright surface and is attributable to the steel refining area. The bare surface means that there are fewer pores and cracks, and the best conditions for subsequent surface treatment are therefore in place. The precise dimensional accuracy also distinguishes this product from other steel products.Available versions include: round, square, hexagonal and flat steel. Profiles, including speciality steel profiles based on technical drawings, can also be made. Bright steel is produced in the form of bars and rings.
