What is Conferencing?

• The ability to hold a meeting without physically being there

• For large or small meetings, from 3 – 2,500 people• The different types of conferencing• Phone – a phone conference can be anything from a

3-way call to an event with 2,500 attendees• Web – usually coupled with a phone conference. This

allows you to present or share documents, slides, web pages from your PC as you would face-to-face

• Video – face-to-face meeting using a real time video link
