Summary & Purpose
D4.1 deliverable summaries the processes and ac7vi7es performed by par7cipants of WP4, during Task 4.1 “Prepara7on of data collec7on on each site” and Task 4.2 “Data collec7on on each site”, which aimed to trial the developed METPEX tools based on the results of WP2 and WP3.
Approach Task 4.1 Prepara6on of data collec6on on each sites
To plan the implementa7on of the survey at eight trial sites, include: • Familiarised themselves with the tool, guidance of SBOING • Produce a common survey plan • Translate the tool(s) to the local language • Secure all ethical and prac7cal permissions that required to test the
To trial the tool(s) that has been developed in 8 different ci7es and via FIA’s on-‐line network on each country. INTECO -‐ Bucharest, INTR -‐ Dublin, KTH -‐ Stockholm, SmartCon7nent -‐ Vilnius, ANGRE -‐ Grevena, EUROKLEIS and RSM -‐ Rome, ITENE -‐ Valencia, COVUNI -‐ Coventry , FIA -‐ distribute the survey on-‐line via its network in each country. SBOING -‐ maintaining and monitoring the server.
The results of the trials will be used to understand the variability of users’ travel paeerns and experiences across different countries and different socio-‐demographic groups of travellers, including ageing travellers and those with special needs. The results will also be used to provide feedback to municipali7es and service providers in order to address the unique problems of each transport system
