The week was celebrated by making board decorations and observing healthy food week in the classes. A presentation was done by Class X on the topic to different classes. Class Prep-B students conducted a special assembly on the occasion. ORIENTATION DAY The Orientation for new students and parents of Delhi Public School Tapi was held on 31 March 2018, welcoming all the New Dipsites to Academic Session 2018-19. The Orientation commenced with lighting of the Vidyadeepam, the Lamp of Knowledge at the Krirangan Conference Hall, marking the beginning of a vibrant new Learning Partnership. Our Performing Arts Department presented a melodious blend of Classical Fusion, followed by an Introduction to Classical Dance.Our DPST Team showed the new parents how to access the DPS Tapi Website, App, Blogs, Facebook and Twitter for communication with school. The principal, Dr. Sanjukta Sivakumar, addressed the new parents on the Learning Partnership between home and school and the necessity of allowing children to achieve their milestones at their own pace without any undue pressure or comparison. The Student Council DPS Tapi for 2018-19 was elected on 6 April, 2018 in the KCH. The election was done on the basis of proportional representation system giving hands on opportunity for students to understand voting system. Nominated candidates were voted by their respective houses as Captains and Vice- Captains from Classes X and IX respectively.
