Racing Commission along with the Harness Commission hosted the Eastern States Racing
Commissioners and Executive Directors meeting in Dover, Delaware.
There were delegates visiting Delaware from New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Ontario
Canada, New York and the USTA in Ohio.
The Delaware Thoroughbred Commission congratulates Dr. John Peters for receiving Delaware Veterinarian of the Year Award for Outstanding
Achievements in the field of Veterinary Medicine.
The Commission also congratulates John F. Wayne the 2003 recipient of
The Len Foote Award for Outstanding Achievements and Contributions to the Racing Industry.
