Reducing costs and recovering your sludge and effluentMETHANE FERMENTATIONOndeo iS can recover energy from bio-resources by leveraging its expertise in the anaerobic digestion process, from researching and designing the anaerobic digester through to building and operating the facility as part of its ANAPULSE, ANALiFT, ANAFLUX and ANAPLUS services, depending on the effluent's characteristics. Removing one ton of COd can potentially produce about 3 500 kWh of energy!

BioControl® is a patented process that is especially suited to upgrading existing plants, which limits the amount of biomass produced by controlling bacterial growth (up to 90% reduction in the volume of sludge with BioControl+) and can boost your plant's capacity.

Ice cream Five-year operations contract focusing on sludge management, thanks to which the overall volume of sludge has effectively been cut by 40% using the service, fat and grease thickening has been reduced, dilution performance has been improved and the amount of discharges into the natural environment is well below standard thresholds. The overall saving achieved is 35%.

AbattoirUse of the plant's spare purification facilities to treat third-party effluent from other nearby industries. The service enables manufacturers to inject superior reliability into their facilities, while lowering treatment costs and reducing variable effluent quality.

Brewery – Five-year outsourcing agreement for treating waste water at two production sites with guaranteed results, including the supply of chemicals, laboratory management and sludge treatment.

Dairy products Creation of a preliminary effluent treatment plant, with the outlet connected to the local urban treatment plant. This biological treatment unit offers very high performance in terms of grease and fat removal, and saves money by obviating the need to extract sludge.

Wine bottling Construction of an environmentally-friendly factory and built-in treatment plant in just nine months, featuring technologies that can reduce sludge production and energy use by 80%, while complying with strict discharge standards in a sensitive area. Ondeo iS has made a long-term commitment by signing a ten-year operations contract.

Baby foodincrease in the plant's treatment capacity. Ondeo iS defined a specific treatment process in compliance with ever stringent discharge standards, based on short and medium-term solutions, and provides operations. also helped absorb the extra effluent while work was in progress.

Juice manufacturingConstruction of a biological treatment unit (3 128 m³/day) for the plant's process waste water and domestic waste water, with discharges into the natural environment, while complying with local environmental standards. Ondeo iS also provides a sludge dewatering service.

Bioethanol production from wheatinstallation within 24 hours of the customer's request of a temporary solution for producing boiler-quality demineralised water, allowing the customer to resume production following a failure in the existing facilities. Ondeo iS subsequently set up reliable alternative solutions to cover the short, medium and long terms.

Distillery Ondeo iS was contracted to carry out a complete preliminary feasibility study in response to a rise in energy use and effluent discharges at the site. The recommended solution will significantly reduce production costs, shranking the site's carbon footprint by 50 ,000 tons of CO2 a year and lowering gas use by 44%.
