Mode of operationThe ICM300 provides a selectable time intervalbetween defrost cycles. It will allow a 10 minutedefrost every 30/60/90 minutes as long as the DFTis closed. A HOLD input allows the timer toaccumulate time while the compressor is running.Additionally, a warm coil causes the DFT to openwhich will prevent time accumulation or end thedefrost period. When the defrost period ends, eitherby opening of the DFT or after the 10 minute defrostperiod has elapsed, the timer is reset.Each ICM300 is shipped with detailed instructions.Consult factory for variations not listed.

Low cost, high performance solid statedefrost control replaces E-15 typecontrols, uses nyc-type sensor...The Series 315 is a reliable, solid state replacementfor E15-type controls. It uses a thermistor-typeprobe as opposed to the unstable bulb-type sensorsused with E15-type controls. The ntc-type probeof the ICM315 is less susceptable to breakage.Unlike E15 controls, the ICM315 is not “positionsensitive” and therefore not susceptable to “re-initiation phenomenon” which can cause damagedue to system short-cycling. The ICM315 is easyto mount and features a heavy-duty relay output.

Mode of operationThe ICM315 provides a selectable time interval(30/45/90 min.) between 10 minute defrost cycles.Upon application of power, the timing sequencebegins with the delay period first, and the 10 minutedefrost period second.When the thermistor senses a temperature of 28°For lower, the defrost board will be controlled by it’sinternal timer. The relay will be energized every 30,45, or 90 minutes based upon the post selected. Ifduring the 10 minute defrost period, the temperaturerises to 55°F or greater, the defrost period willterminate. If this condition does not occur, the defrostperiod will complete and the entire sequence willrepeat.The on-board relay (K1) will be energized only duingthe 10 minute defrost period.Each ICM315 is shipped with detailed instructions.Consult factory for variations not listed.

The defrost run time is keptas a function of “Y” calling. If in defrost and “Y” stopscalling, “O” remains energized, but X2 will de-energize.
