• Founded in 2006 as an 8-week summer program.
• 2008-2010 developed into a 6-month mentoring program for African American & Latina girls.
• 2010 expanded services to serve the needs of diverse girls and the women around them.

support women innovators in our communities who have demonstrated a commitment to addressing the needs of communities by building a sense of spirit and solidarity.
Alejandra Rodriguez is a graduate of the LCL program who partnered with the InterCambio program to raise funds in support her goal to become Miss Illinois Latina 2010.
