De Fietsfabriek distinguishes itself in several ways from other bike manufacturers.Our unique advantages are: customization and safety.

1.CustomizationWe offer a wide range of customizations such as your name, text or logo on the frame, chain guard or baggage rack. This will be lasered on the steel instead of using stickers or screw on plates. We also offer a range of 41 different RAL colours.

2.SafetyThe environment and the safety of active children is on top of our mind when designingour bikes and ‘bakfietsen’ (box bikes/carrier bikes). They are not just a means of transportation, but also ensure a healthier environment and a safe way of carrying yourchildren around.

Where are our bikes made?

The manufacturing of our bicycle frames takes place in our own factory in Turkey. It is located in Büyükcamili, the birthplace of one of the founders. The factory provides jobs in the small village, offering workers future prospects and continuous training and a good working environment.

Being a Dutch company, sustainability is paramount. We therefore concentrate on an environmentally friendly production process.

After the frames are handmade in Turkey, the bikes are assembled in The Netherlands. Here top brand wheels, handlebars, saddle and accessories, as specified by the customer, are mounted on the bicycle. A final quality check is carried out before the bike is handed over to the customer.

As the entire manufacturing process is under our control we have the flexibility to complete the bike according to the personal wishes of the customer. It also gives us the flexibility to carry out changes and improvements quickly. Each bike is handmade with an eye for detail, quality and durability.

Pack Max

The Pack Max is the ideal bike for mother and child. With its reinforced cross frame, strong wheels and heavy duty spokes the Pack Max is suitable for heavy loads. An easy and safe way to carry your child in the child seat and your groceries in the crate in front. The Pack Max is available in two sizes: 26 en 28 inch.

‘Bakfiets’ classic

This ‘bakfiets’ is the alternative to using a car: children can sit in the front and you willnever be stuck in traffic again. Even groceries, pets and other loads can be carried easilyin this spacious open box. The frame and wheels are designed to carry heavy loads. Carrying two children and your groceries on a normal city bike can be tricky. One child on the back and one on the front of the bike and your grocery bags hanging on the handlebars.
