Topics and Topic Q&A (SITIS) page On this page, you can find and view active and archived topics. You can search for topics and filter topics based on BAAs, program, component, and technology areas. You can expand the topic box to see more information, including questions submitted by Firms for topics and answers posted during the Pre-Release period. 7. Select either Active or Archived
depending on the topics you are looking for.
8. Select a BAA from the drop-down
menu. Note: For Active BAAs, All Active BAAs is selected by default. For Archived BAAs, the most recent BAA is selected.
9. You can filter the topics simply by searching for topic number, title, or keyword.
10. To expand more filter options, select More Filters.
To filter, select the corresponding filter(s) and click the Apply and Close button.
Topics & Responding to Questions 14. The table lists all topics in the BAA you selected. The following information is available from the table:
A. Total Number of Topics: You can see the total number of topics in the selected BAA(s). B. Topic Information: Each topic has information including Topic #, Topic Title, Component, Command, #
Questions, TPOC, Pre-Release Period, and Q&A Status. TPOC: The number represents available TPOC information for each topic. If available, click to see the
detailed information. C. Status Legend: You can find Q&A Status for the topic here.
Not Started: There is at least one question not started by the Admin. In Progress: The question is being processed. Completed: The question has been answered and posted.
Note: If the Q&A Status is “N/A”, this means the topic has not received any questions.
15. Click the topic box to expand and view questions and their status. Then, you can view the list of questions for the selected topic, the date the question was submitted, and the status for each question.
16. To start, click on the question. Then, the field will expand for you to process the question. For questions that have not been started yet, the Admin will have the following options:
A. Forward to User(s): You can forward this question to the appropriate Component user(s) and/or TPOC(s). B. Mark as Duplicate: If a duplicate question was previously posted, you can select this option to mark it as
duplicate. C. Forward to Help Desk: If the question is technical and related to the system, forward it to the Help Desk. D. Save Answer: You can enter your answer and save without posting. E. Post Answer: To publish, enter your answer and select Post Answer. Note: Component user(s) and/or TPOC(s) can only save answers and post answers after a question has been forwarded to them by the Admin.
20. The options to include question information and Topic’s due date in the message are selected by default. You can unselect these options by clicking the checkboxes.
21. Enter an optional message in the text
box.
22. To send the email, select Send. To cancel and close the Forward Question to User(s) window, select Cancel.
23. Once you forward the question, you will see the following changes:
A. The status will change to Forwarded to User – Awaiting Answer
B. You will see the action you performed posted with a time stamp.
C. You will see a new button for Send Reminder. You can send a reminder to the user(s) if you do not hear back or see any action taken on the question.
