Pupil Premium Allocation (2020-2021)

Evaluation

Due to the disruptive nature of the Covid19 pandemic the evaluation of this spending plan is not as in depth as previous years. Additional evaluations of the quality of provision and outcomes can be found on the School Improvement Plan and Catch-up Spending plan, which

were reported to the Governing Body termly for robust analysis.

Whole School Strategies

Over the academic year 2020-2021, some of the Pupil Premium allocation was used to refine the process we have in place to support new starters on entry to the Academy. This has allowed for faster identification of families in need and a clearer more robust system for transferring

key information to teachers ready for children starting school.

Further to this, the academy has invested in Edukey Provision Map to support the evaluation and implementation of all interventions, including those eligible for Pupil Premium the grant. Initial in-house monitoring demonstrates that this is having a positive effect on progress, especially in

reading outcomes from Lockdown to end of year.
