One of the highlights of the week-long programme was the Deepavali assembly held at the Multipurpose Hall. It was the biggest assembly thus far at the new campus with the gathering of more than 900 stu- dents and staff from the Malaysian and International schools. The assembly started off with the lighting of lamps by Mr Gilman, Mr Harvey and Mrs Puvanes. It was followed with performances by students from Sekolah Tenby and Tenby International School (Primary and Secondary). The staff and students from Tenby Sixth Form also did a short and hilarious sketch entitled ‘The Raja Sutra’ guest starring Tenby’s very own Mr MGR! The assembly ended at around 9.30am with a fashion parade by the students and staff all adorned in their traditional and colourful Indian attires. (More picture on the next page!)
