Liberty NXP is a nonablative negative working polymer-coated plate which can be laser imaged right out of the box and mounted on the plate cylinder of any offset press. Liberty delivers the full benefits of on-press development, yet with the robust performance of a chemical processed plate.

SLP’s Viper 830 TPX negative-working, thermal photopolymer digital plates excel at color commercial and package printing. With their wide imaging latitude, they generate dots that are solid, stable and predictable. These high-sensitivity plates image fast and process quickly and cleanly. Rated at 2,400 dpi resolution/1-99% and capable of FM screening, Viper 830 TPX plates can yield 200,000+ impressions unbaked.

High ink receptivity in the image area ensures quick make-readies and eliminates restart waste. The plates’ proprietary multistage grain structure improves performance on press by reducing ink usage and delivering excellent ink-and-water balance. Less water and ink means better print quality control and ease of plate use… whatever the production environment.

Cobra 830 negative thermal plates are well suited to short and medium run lengths. Cobra 830 plates are equally strong at standing up to the rigors of long print runs with high page counts and millions of copies.
