Decisions for Eternity Each day is a day of decision. President Thomas S. Monson has taught us that, decisions determine destiny.You are never too young to learn, never too old to change. Your yearnings to learn and change come from a divinely instilled striving for eternal progression. Each day brings opportunity for decisions for eternity. 9. D&C 6:14 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, blessed art thou for what those hast done; for thou hast inquired of me, and behold, as often as thou hast inquired thou hast received instruction of my Spirit. If it had not been so, thou wouldst not have come to the place where thou art at this time. 10. Decade of Decisions 1. The decision to stay morally clean 2. The decision to serve in His Kingdom 3. The decision to follow the Prophets 4. The decision to accept & follow the will & timing of the Lord 11. 1. The decision to be morally cleanclip 12. A pivotal spiritual attribute is that of self-mastery- the strength to place reason over appetite. Selfmastery builds a strong conscience. And your conscience determines, tempting, and trying situations. 13. 2. The Decision to serve in His Kingdom 14. Find an example in the scriptures of a person, or group, that had to make a decision to serve in the kingdom. 15. 3. Decision to follow His Prophets 16. 4. Decision to accept & follow the will & timing of the Lord 17. Elder Oaks, Timing 18. What do we learn in the process of waiting? 19. Continue in patience 20. Any final thoughts?
