Not having the right Insurance can impact your life!

Having the right insurance can make or break your family budget; life events from the trivial to the traumatic, the expense of Insurance can be costly, but not having it can cost even more. With our busy lives, it is important to cover all of your bases. Some Insurances are mandated to have like car insurance, but there are other in-surances that we should have that will help us live more securely.

Most people are not familiar with insurances or it can be intimidating by all of the complexity. However, there are people that specialize in these areas. As busy wom-en, we like the convenience of having things in order. Health Insurance is becoming more complicated and with all of the options wouldn’t it be nice to have some ad-vice and help with finding the plan that suits you needs.

Having a professional broker guide you through this season’s open enrollment is a must. A licensed broker partners with insurance companies and supports the health insurance selection process. Plans can be private or on healthcare.gov. The objec-tive is to find the best plan that fits into the desired budget and supports the health needs of the individual, family and/or small business. Be sure to request infor-mation from www.healthcaresolutionsteam.com/agent/adrian-trice/. A short con-versation today and secure health insurance options for the upcoming year!

Most people are not aware that there is legal insurance. A Legal plan can help with Family matters, Motor Vehicle issues, trial defense, Irs Audits, 24/7 access to an at-torney and more. All this without worrying about high legal cost. How many times have you heard of or been a victim of Identify theft. Do you know that it is the larg-est growing crime in the United States? Are you and your family protected? Espe-cially during the holidays. Be sure to visit www.bparrish.leaglshieldassociate.com

on ways to protect your family for about a $1 a day.

Now is the time to take action.

We are here to help!

Oh, the joy of Insurance!

Page 7: December/ January 2015

1. Clean out your wallet, purse, and glove box. Select one or two credit cards. Do you need your checkbook? Do not carry your Social Security card. More people report lost and stolen wallets to the Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) between November and January than at any other time of year.

2. Never give private information to a company claiming to be making you a special credit card offer, and beware of “your” bank contacting you with the claim that they are “updating their records” or have “lost” pertinent information. Your bank is not going to send you an email asking for updated account information.

3. Be aware of your surroundings…when you use your cell phone in a public place and give credit card information or personal billing information you could be giving identity theft thieves everything to steal your identity.

4. Shopping after work? Put your purse, brief case, laptop in the truck of your care BEFORE you leave work. Thieves are watching parking lots. If you know that you are going shopping after work, limit what personal information you take to work.

5. Prevent pre-approved credit card offers from being sent to you by calling 888-5-OPT-OUT.

6. Do not put outgoing bills or mail containing checks in a home mailbox or blue curbside mailboxes. Mail letters inside the post office or hand them to a carrier.

7. Keep track of all purchases. Receipts in your wallet – not in the bag or on the bag. Read your credit card and bank account statements thoroughly. When in doubt, pay cash. Do not use checks that show a phone number, Social Security number or driver's license number.

8. Holiday shopping on-line: Only do business with sites that display the “lock” security symbol. Go directly to the merchant’s website and not through an email link. Protect your computer with Spy Sweeper, AVG, Zone Alarm (examples)

9. Looking for an ole’ friend through Facebook? Beware…fake profiles have become very popular. The holiday time is an excuse for people to get back in touch. Protect your privacy of your profile by rejecting anyone that you do not know and do not include your full birthdate.

10 Buy yourself 2 presents this holiday season: A SERVICE for you and your spouse that offers credit reports, continuous credit monitoring, and identity restoration. A SHREDDER for personal or financial documents.

If you believe your identity has been stolen, report the crime to police in the jurisdiction in which it took place, call your credit card company to dispute fraudulent charges and contact the Federal Trade Commission at 877-FTC- HELP or www.ftc.gov.

Middleton Media Group Announces the Launch of New Marketing

Services Litchfield Park - May 20 2014 - Middleton Media Group, an established leader in SEO software, services &

training, today announced the launch Display Advertising and Re-Targeting, a service created to get one or

more of your internet properties on the first 3 pages of Google.

According to Middleton Media Group Owner, Tracy Middleton, the Display Advertising and Re-Targeting

service will be available for purchase on May 20 2014 and will be available by calling 844.361.1610 or

online at http://www.MiddletonMediaGroup.com.

"Our customers have been asking for a way to get their company on page one or two of Google, and we

have obliged by offering comprehensive SEO," said Middleton. "in addition, we have partnered with some

great coders and graphic designers to launch our paid advertising and retargeting programs for Google Ad-

words, Facebook and Youtube.."

More About Middleton Media Group

Founded on 11-11-11, Middleton Media Group has helped many businesses with mobile and video market-

ing and training. The company's mission statement is "To provide personalized marketing services in order

to help your business grow". Middleton Media Group started out as GetYourMobileSiteNow.com as a lead-

er in mobile marketing. Due to many requests, Middleton Media Group has expanded into a full service

marketing agency. They provide the following marketing strategies: video marketing, video creation, press

releases, Pay Per Click Google Adwords, Re-Marketing, Display Advertising, Website/ecommerce design,

Social Media Optimization and Mobile marketing.

Middleton believes that video marketing is the cutting-edge marketing trend. She says, “Make no mistake,

SEO (as many are starting to call it “content marketing”) is still the most important online marketing medi-

um to local businesses. There are many marketing fads out there, but driving “Guaranteed Traffic” through

the major search engines will never go out of style and will continue to be the #1 online marketing medium

for a long time to come. When our clients pay for marketing they DESERVE to have real work done that

translates into a cost on service and a full blown work report with PROOF of work done.”

Display Advertising really enhances the “meat and potatoes” of SEO. While a god SEO strategy can take

6 to 12 month to get your website higher in the search engine results, Display marketing gets you on some

of the most popular websites immediately. Our Retargeting programs keeps your business in front of inter-

ested customers.

Meet Susan Ratliff On the Cover

Susan Ratliff had no fancy college degree or

corporate experience when she started her first

business in 1988 with $5000 in savings. For six

years she ran a home based, personalized chil-

dren’s book distributorship becoming the 2nd larg-

est in the country. It was there that she honed her

exhibiting skills. In 1994, after a divorce, she sold

the book business, borrowed money from family

and credit cards to launch a portable trade show

display company. Over the next 16 years her suc-

cessful exhibit house amassed numerous awards

for business excellence and innovation as she posi-

tioned herself as an expert in her field including

Business Owner of the year from NAWBO, The

Sterling Award for Micro-Business from the Scotts-

dale Chamber of Commerce and the Positively

Powerful Woman Award. During those years of business growth this busy entre-

preneur wrote five books and built a lucrative speaking, consulting and event produc-

tion company, Susan Ratliff Presents Inc. In 2010 she sold the display company but

continues to provide, training, consulting and resources for tradeshow market-

ing. Susan says “I’m a serial entrepreneur who thrives on chaos.”

In 2005 she created the Women Entrepreneurs’ Small Business Boot Camp. This

popular event delivers an information-packed day of world-class insights, cutting edge

strategies, practical tools and relevant topics to empower women entrepreneurs. In

addition to eleven business building sessions presented by local business experts,

there are fifty exhibiting companies with valuable resources. The atmosphere is fun

and the day promises no theory, philosophy or fluff-just an arsenal of ideas and practi-

cal ammunition to help women battle the most difficult business challenges.

Not one to let a lucrative business opportunity pass her by, “and before someone

else decided to do it” Susan Says, She created, financed and produced the first Ari-

zona Sports Fan Expo in June 2014. Renting out the University of Phoenix Stadium

she created a super fan festival featuring interactive booths from all of the State’s pro-

fessional sports teams inside a marketplace of exhibitors offering health, fitness and

sports-related products and services for sale. The successful event was enjoyed by

thousands of sports fans of all ages and the risk paid off financially.

Make a New Year's Resolution To Avoid Costly Insurance Mistakes and Save Money On Your Auto and Homeowners Insurance in 2015Tips To Prevent You From Ending Up Dangerously UnderinsuredFollowing are five insurance mistakes that consumers should avoid, along with practical suggestions for better ways to save:

Insuring a home for its real estate value 1.instead of for the cost of rebuilding. With the real estate market in a slump and home prices down in many parts of the country, some homeowners may think they can reduce the amount of insurance on their home, too. But insurance is designed to cover the cost of rebuilding, not the sales price of your home. Make sure you have enough coverage to completely rebuild your home and replace all your belongings in the event of a disaster.

A better way to save: Raise your deductible. An increase from $500 to $1,000 could save up to 25 percent on your annual premium.

Selecting an insurance company by price 2.alone. Do not just choose a company with competitive prices. It is a good idea to also make sure the company is financially sound and provides good customer service.

A better way to save: Check the financial health of a company with independent rating agencies and ask friends and family for recommendations. You should select an insurance company that has a reputation for excellent customer service and will respond to your needs and handle claims fairly and efficiently.

Dropping flood insurance. Damage from 3.flooding is not covered under standard homeowners and renters insurance policies. Coverage is available from the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) as well as from some private insurance companies. Many homeowners are unaware they are at

risk for flooding, but in fact 25 percent of all 1.flood losses occur in low risk areas.

A better way to save: Before purchasing a home check with the NFIP to see whether it is located in a flood zone. If so, consider buying a home in a less risky area. If you already own a home in a flood zone area, look at home mitigation efforts that can reduce your risk of flood damage and consider purchasing flood insurance.

Purchasing only the legally required amount 2.of liability for your vehicle. In today's litigious society, buying only the minimum amount of liability means you are likely to pay more out-of-pocket if you are sued—and those costs may be steep. The insurance industry and consumer groups generally recommend a minimum of $100,000 of bodily injury protection per person and $300,000 per accident.

A better way to save: Consider dropping collision and/or comprehensive coverage on older vehicles worth less than $1,000.

Neglecting to buy renters insurance. A renter’s 3.insurance policy covers your possessions and additional living expenses if you have to move out of your home due to a disaster. Equally important, it provides liability protection in the event someone is injured in your home and decides to sue.

Homemade Oven Roasted Tater Tots

3-4 cooked potatoes

1 teaspoon salt, to taste

1/2 teaspoon pepper, to taste

olive oil

Depending on your oven, preheat to 425-450°F. Line a bak-

ing sheet with foil, parchment paper or (my preferred

way!) Silpat to prevent the tots from sticking and set aside.

Peel and boil potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes

until cooked, then drain. Grate the potatoes and place in a

bowl. With your hands, carefully stir in salt and pepper

and form the mixture into balls or small cylinders and

place on a sheet pan. Spray or drizzle olive oil over top.

Cook tater tots for about 15 minutes on each side until

golden brown and crisp on the outside.

Total Time: 60 minutes

Yield: makes about 6-8 servings
