Our year six graduaon was an excing evening and all their speeches demonstrated their enthusiasm and pride in our school. We say farewell to them and wish each and every student success in their secondary school and hope to hear great things about them in the future. I would like to congratulate and thank both Jack and Danica, our school captains, for their efforts and leadership throughout 2017. Both Jack and Danica have led the student community with integrity and pride. Our Year Six Award winners are: Academic Dux : Josie Nelson Sport : Wylie Anderson Arts: Kody Emmerson ICT: Will Seddon Community Service: Kaylee Spiteri and Seth Fuhrmeister GPS Community Award: Jorja Bennet The 2017 year has been hecc and successful. Our students have worked extremely hard to achieve their goals and their results reflect this. Our dedicated staff work relessly and are no doubt looking forward to a well-earned break. We will all be back next year and look forward to Kirsty Payton and Claire Constable joining us. It is always a great privilege to lead our school and I would like to thank all those families who have supported our endeavours, without your assistance, our job would be much harder. In addion I would like to thank our teachers and support staff as without their hard work we would fail to thrive. I would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and prosperous New Year and we look forward to seeing you back here with us in 2018. Our teachers for 2018 are: Prep 1 – Brad Karslake, Louise kirk, Ainslee McDougall and Claire Constable Grade 2 & 3 – Melissa McIntosh and Cameron Carter Grade 3 & 4 – Crystal Chappell and Jenny Farquhar Grade 5 & 6 – Tom Watson and Kirsty Payton Music & Science - Francis Carter, L.O.T.E. – Danielle George, Health and P.E. – Dee Beseler and Mandy Hipke and Art – Sam Benn. We are able to offer an excellent range of specialist programs again in 2018. Students will be dismissed at 3.30 on Thursday 21 st of December. Principal’s Report RESPECT . EFFORT . POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Camps, Sports & Excursion Funding Camps, Sports & Excursion Fund (CSEF) applicaon forms for 2018 are now available from the office. The payment amount is $125 per child per year. To be eligible families must be holders of a Health Care card, Pensioner Card, Veterans Affairs Gold Card or be a temporary foster parent. Please complete your form and return to the office together with a copy of your card as soon as possible.
