Birdies for Literacy

Thank you to those that donated to the 2015 Birdies for Literacy

benefitting the Adult Literacy Council of the Concho Valley!!!

SACC Golf Professionals Jason Hase, Alayne Lee, and Chris

Chavarria played 72 holes each on Monday October 19th.

With 44 total birdies we were able to raise more than $5,000 to

help support literacy in the Concho Valley!

We would like to recognize some of our juniors for recent ZAT Tournament results:

Luke Sawyer Semifinals Main Draw B 16 and under. Sid Wallace Finals Main Draw B 16 and under. Bobby Hirschfeld Quarterfinals B 14 and under.

Macary Burnett Finals of Consolation G 18 and under. Way to go guys!

Alex is starting a new round of Wednesday night ladies league. It is a combined 3.0/3.5 league. If you are interested in playing, please call the tennis shop at 325-651-7220.

We will be starting an open drill group on Saturday mornings followed by match play. We are looking for 3.5/4.0 men who would be interested in participating. CLUB NEWS It’s the most beautiful time of the year here at your club. I invite you to visit your club during December to experience all the

beauty of your club. The team has planned many exciting events for you

to enjoy this holiday season, from Brunch with Santa to Ladies Night Out, to Family Bingo to couples night out, to new this year— an elegant

dinner on New Year’s Eve “ Come on out and enjoy your club”.

I hope you have downloaded our new phone app. It is the next best thing

to make your life easier and stay in touch with the club. We have loaded

the app with features such as instant alert about news, special and up-coming events, GPS yardage for the golf course, keep score and direct

email scores at the end of round, direct calling and emailing at your fin-

gertips, course reports and many more. If you need assistance call Traci at 325-651-7227.

We are working very hard on communications with you, our members. We will now have one email a week on upcoming events and

one on exciting pictures of you enjoying your club. With the new app we

will use both tools until we have everyone loaded up with the app. If you are not getting our emails please call Traci and she will fix everything for

you.

We still have a few open dates for your holiday party. A

wonderful way to celebrate the holidays with Great food, Great

Service, and Spectacular decorations. Call Curtis to book your date.

Thanks and have a Merry Christmas!

On December 18, 2015 Katie Ball will have completed her 26

month journey of Leukemia treatment. Amy and I wanted to

thank everyone at the club for their support. The club has been an

oasis for us to bring Katie during her treatment. The staff and

members always made her feel comfortable and special at times

when she didn’t feel her best. Thanks again to everyone for their

prayers, thoughts and support during her fight.

WGA NEWS The Women’s Golf Association’s Christmas

Party is Thursday, December 3rd in the Petite Lounge.

Hope to see you there. There will be heavy hors

d’ oeuvres, cocktails and the WGA yearly awards.

As our tradition continues again this year, the

WGA will make a monetary donation to Meals for the

Elderly. We also, again, are going to help our area

PAWS foundation. If you would like to bring food,

bedding or any item they could use, please bring it to

the party and we will see that it is given to our “Best

Friends”

If you missed the “Paint and Sip Event,” you

missed out on a fun time!!! We did lots of painting

and sipping. Not sure what we were doing was con-

sidered sipping! Our “everybody drink” words were

“UH-OH” and “OOPS”

Please be mindful of the reason we

celebrate this time of year and keep Jesus in

your hearts and mind.
