To set up your den we ask four questions: Through ScoutBook we already know the rank of the den that is associated with the Den Leader. We ask the gender of the den, this will determine the images that are seen during the experience. We ask when you meet and how often. You can go back and make adjustments to this. Where does the den meet, this provides the ability to send location information in meeting reminders. When is your first meeting? After that the Den Meeting plans to get your den to earn their badge of rank is mapped out for you in seconds.
Click “Finish” and your calendar is all set up…
After the den is set up you are taken to the home screen for meetings.

Den Meetings are Prearranged
A Den Leader can simply just follow the meetings in the order that are recommended.
Most ranks have about 13 meetings that will get the Scouts to their badge of rank.
Presenter
Presentation Notes
There is a prearranged order of completing adventures that have been developed to fit most situations. For first time den leaders this makes it easy to just follow the meeting plans without having to know what each adventure is about and when to do them. Most ranks can be accomplished in about 13 meetings which gets everyone to their rank in time for Blue and Gold in February. We do know that some of the adventures you will want to align with special pack events or council activities so there is flexibility.
