Friday 1st December 2017 Issue 90 Dear Parents/Carers, This week has been a very exciting week in our school. Our Christmas trees have arrived and will be decorated by our children in Sunshine group and Reception. Our children in Reception and Key Stage 1 have visited the Oak House to learn all about the meaning of Christmas. They were all exceptionally well behaved and were a credit to their families and their school. Nine Year 2 children went out of school on Wednesday to take part in an inter-school football tournament. They played really well and showed true Lodge sportsmanship. Well done children and a big thank you to all of the staff who organised and supported the children during all of these activities. As you are aware, the weather is turning much colder. Please do make sure that your child is sent to school suitably dressed for the weather. Trainers are not part of our school uniform, and are not suitable footwear, particularly when the children are outside at this time of year. Thank you as ever for all of your support. Have a lovely weekend with your families.
