     Making  your  commute  safer  by  sanding  the  roads  around  campus.    Sand  trucks  were  being  worked  hard  Friday  afternoon  to  help  with  the  icy  roads.

 Lisa  Rector,  junior  from  Tahlequah,  digs  out  her  car  Sunday  morning  after  winter  storms  move  through  the  area  this  weekend  dumping  around  four  inches  of  a  snow  and  sleet  mixture  on  Tahlequah  and  the  surrounding  areas.    Due  to  incliment  weather  NSU  was  forced  to  close  school  Monday  evening,  Tuesday  and  Saturday  last  week.

     Michael  Rogge;  Optometry  student  at  NSU;  gets  ice  cold  water  poured  on  him  for  a  charity  benefit  for  ALS.    Typically;  a  bucket  of  ice  is  dumped  on  the  participant  to  simulate  the  disease's  effects.;  Rogge  decides  to  add  a  twist  and  climbs  in  the  beer  trough  while  onlookers  cheer  him  on.

   Felicia  Wooten,  Junior,  does  an  online  test  for  classes  Monday,  after  her  hopes  for  a  closed  campus  melted  away  with  the  weekend's  snow.  Unfortunately  in  the  middle  of  her  test  the  computer  restarted  to  apply  updates  she  had  postponed  earlier  that  day.
