The Government of India has launched Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG (DBTL) from 1.9.2013 for all consumer attached to distributors in your district.

DBTL Scheme• Effective 1.9.2013, domestic LPG cylinders will be sold at market price.

• You will get cash subsidy in advance to buy your market priced LPG cylinder directly in your Aadhaar linked bank account

as per your entitlement.

• Consumers who are unable to complete formalities by 1.9.2013 will receive subsidised LPG cylinders as they are getting

today till 30.11.2013.

• After 30.11.2013 all consumers will have to pay market price for LPG cylinder and subsidy will only be available to those

who have completed the above formalities.

To enroll in DBTL, complete the 3 steps below:

Step1. Obtain Aadhaar Number, if you don’t have one. (For those who do not have an Aadhaar letter, visit your nearest Aadhaar enrollment camp. Details are available with District Collectors or at website www.uidai.gov.in)

Step2. Link your Aadhaar Number to your existing bank account using Form-2 (Form-2 may be deposited at your bank branch/drop box at your LPG distributor premises/select company petrol pumps) OR If you don’t have a bank account, open a new one and link it to your Aadhaar Number. (Visit http://www.petroleum.nic.in/dbtl/bank.pdf for list of banks)

Step3. Link your Aadhaar Number with your LPG Consumer Number in any of following six ways:

i) By Hand: Fill the details in Form-1, give it to your LPG distributor along with the enclosures as mentioned in Form-1.

Call Centre: Call 1800 2333 555 and register your Aadhaar Number.

Web: Go to website www.uidai.gov.in Press the Start Now button and follow the seeding procedure.

IVRS: Call your company’s number given below and follow IVRS instructions HP Gas : xxxxx xxxxx

SMS: Send following two SMSs to xxxxx xxxxx (HP AnyTime)
