INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTERING HORTICULTURAL EXHIBITS
1. All classes are open to anyone who grows daffodils, except as noted elsewhere in the schedule. 2. All blooms must have been grown in the open by the exhibitor, with the exception of miniatures,
which may be grown in protected areas. 3. More than one entry may be made in any class, provided each entry is a different cultivar, or
a completely different collection of cultivars. 4. ENTRY TAGS ARE PROVIDED AND SHOULD BE SECURED IN ADVANCE. They are available from Mrs. Alfred
Hanenkrat, 266 Floyd Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45415, Phone 275-9919 or from Mrs. Tom Ragouzis, 425 Rawson Woods Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220, Phone 221-1166.
5. Each entry tag must have the name (or seedling number), division, class number and exhibitor's name. Color Code is required for all single and three stem entries. Color Coding is optional for collections.
6. The bottom portion of the entry tag must be filled out. Name stickers or rubber stamps are helpful.
7. All containers and wedgingffoterial will he furnished by the committee. 8. Entries are to be made between 7:30 and 11:30 A. M. April 16, 1983. Entries after 11:30 will
be accepted for display only. 9. Exhibits may be removed at 5:00 P.M. April 17, 1983. Ribbons not picked up at the close of the
show will be mailed to exhibitors.
REGULATIONS FOR EXHIBITING AND JUDGING
1. Correct classification and labeling shall be the responsibility of the exhibitor. No label may be changed, specimens added, removed or substituted after judging has begun or awards placed.
2. Exhibits not named, or incorrectly named, will not be judged. However, blooms of seedlings may be shown in classes other than SEC. H.
3. All seedlings must be identified by a number designation assigned by the originator. If the exhibitor is not the originator, the name of the originator must be included on the tag. Entry tag should also include the classification and parentage, if known.
4. All collections of 5 or more stems must be exhibited with each cultivar in a separate container furnished by the committee, and each labeled by name and division (Color Code is optional for collections). Please list all cultivars in collections on blank space on reverse side of bottom portion of entry tag.
5. Miniature daffodils, as named in the ADS Approved List of Miniatures (ADS Dec. 1981 Journal) may be shown ONLY in classes for miniatures. Candidates for the Miniature List (seedlings) may be included.
6. Only one first, one second, and one third award may be given in each class. Honorable Mention awards may also be given.
7. Each stem in an exhibit receiving a first or an ADS Award must score 90 points or more by the ADS Scale of Points.
8. Any, and all awards, may be withheld by the judges if, in their opinion, the exhibit is not worthy. The decision of the judges shall be final except as stated in Regulation # 10.
9. If an error is discovered in an exhibit after completion of judging, any award placed thereon (ADS, special or ribbon) shall be forfeited by the exhibitor.
10. Any report of an error shall be, directed to the Show Chairman, who will refer it to the panel of judges responsible for the award. Should the officiating panel be unavailable, the Show Chairman shall make the final decision as to the validity of the reported error.

RULES 1. Daffodils (two or more) must be included in all arrangements,
but need not predominate in the design. 2. Additional foliage, dried or fresh plant material, accessories,
or bases are permitted. 3. Artificially colored dried plant material is acceptable, but
no artificial plant material may be used. 4. Plant material may be obtained from any source,and it need not
be grown by the arranger. 5. Accredited OAGC and/or NC judges will evaluate this section and
their decision is final. 6. The Committee is not responsible for loss or damage. It is
suggested that all containers and accessories be marked with name, address and phone number.
7. Tables 30" deep will be covered with a lime green cloth. 8. Arrangers must furnish a background 43" x 36" with 12" wings. 9. Arrangements will be placed Saturday Morning, April 16th from
7-11 A.M. They may be removed after 5 PM Sunday, April 17th. 10. The "FRAN ANEWALT" Trophy will be awarded to the best flower
arrangement in the Artistic Section.
