A little history….According to church tradition, Peter was the younger brother reigned in Murom, St. Paul and married Fevronia because the mysterious daughter of a beekeeper healed him of leprosy. This happened at the end of the XII century, and the prince's marriage to a young peasant girl brought a lot of noise and conviction among the citizens. But Fevronia knew perfectly well that the main thing for her - own the heart of her husband. Very soon the young Fevronia become a princess, and they "began to live a godly life, in no way transgressing God's commandments." However, over time, in 1204, has died, Prince Paul and the rule of Murom was to the young Peter. Had nothing against the boyars of his candidacy - but one: did not like the boyars' wives Fevronia - commoner. Having met the established custom, the boyars notified of their prince that they themselves do not mind to obey him, but their wives - boyar - do not want to obey the former peasant. Peter, listen to their views, said: "Tell me about it Fevronia, listen to what she says." Overjoyed boyars Febronia visited and offered to save her life if she leaves her husband and leave the city. "What will you give me to bring?" - Said a wise Fevronia. "Anything surrender! - Swore boyars - Climb. Anything you want, any wealth! "" Okay. But I want to pick only one - My husband! "
